Calahoo and RQB arenas are not participating in the Restrictions Exemptions Program, and DO NOT require proof of vaccination for entry into the arenas.
Please see our CR Knights Arena Guidelines page for capacity restrictions and guidelines.
This page has been updated on September 30, 2021 to align with the most recent Hockey Alberta 2021- 2022 Season Plan that outlines the minimum standards for Hockey Alberta’s Members to undertake hockey activities this season.
All players are required to complete the COVID-19 screening questionnaire in the RAMP Team App prior to any game, practice or team activity.
Masks MUST be worn by everyone at all times when entering arena facilities. This includes minors. Removing masks for food or drink is NOT PERMITTED.
Players must wear masks in the dressing rooms as well but can remove their masks before going on the ice.
*New Coaches must wear their masks at all times as well but can ALSO remove their masks when on the ice during physical activity.
Some counties, cities, and towns that we visit this year will have arenas that are participating in the Restrictions Exemptions Program(REP) where adults will not be able to enter those facilities without proof of vaccination or a negative test.
At this point all arenas in the NAI that are participating in the REP are still allowing players under 18 to use the facilities for hockey without proof of vaccination. The arenas that are in the REP will not allow adults into the facility without proof of vaccination.
However, it is still possible that there may be other arenas that your team may visit this year for tournaments or exhibitions games that are asking for proof of vaccination for players 12 years and older. This means that players who are not vaccinated or have no proof of vaccination will not be permitted to play in these arenas. Please check with your manager if your team is traveling outside of the NAI for any games.
